Parramatta fullback Jarryd Hayne is facing a two-week ban after being charged over a headbutt in Friday night's NRL loss to Canterbury.
The NRL match review committee slapped a grade two striking charge on Hayne after he attacked Bulldogs forward Corey Payne in retaliation for an earlier high shot.
Payne was also charged with a grade three careless high tackle and will miss one game unless he can beat the charge.
