Breaking News: Bret Hart Signs With WWE

According to a WWE source who would have full knowledge of the situation, Bret Hart has indeed signed a short-term talent contract with World Wrestling Entertainment,

The WWE Hall of Famer signed the this past week and it will cover the period from 1/1 to 4/10, or through WrestleMania and about two weeks after the 3/28 show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Hart simply told a reliable source that he wasn't going to lie about anything and thus wasn't going to comment on this story.

It was said that Hart wanted his signing to be kept quiet and his return to be a surprise, but that WWE couldn't help itself but all but announced it publicly on the first RAW after the ink was dry.

The Hitman vs HBK at Wrestlemania if I had it my way. I don't care if he's getting on, it should be an awesome match regardless.

Awesome news! Used to love watching him wrestle. He was never my favourite but I still used to like him.
As for HBK vs Hitman, HBK's one of my favourites so obviously i'll still go for HBK but i'll still enjoy it nonetheless.

yeah this was 97. the story goes mcmahon wanted hbk to lose the title to bret at wm13. So HBK, not wanting to lose to bret, "retires" and relinquishes the title citing that he had "lost his smile". pretty much straight after wm, hbk comes back from retirement. A pretty valid reason why Bret didnt want to lose to HBK later in the year.

But he was injured, he only came back after having surgery. Ofcourse Bret Hart's going to say he was faking the injury.

He also didnt want to do the job to Shane Douglas in 1996. Shawn is, was and and all was will be a spoilt little brat. I dont buy any of his God-bullsh*t either.

WWE signed Hart purely to compete with TNA signing Hogan and i tell ya. F**K Hart and F**k WWE. TNA IMO won this war this week.

I love the Nasty Boys and i think they will be used to put over some TNA teams as with Xpac.. We will see "Outsiders Vs BMI and Hogan.
