Dragons and Broncos do have a competitive history so it's at least got credibility, a lot of the other matches are so meh.

They used to draw big crowds and be fantastic matches, but lately it's been so one-sided they have just lost that intensity those games used to have.

I used to draw a circle around the Dragons matches, because it was like finals coming early. But it hasn't been that way for some time.

Not really our first match this year was Thursday against sharks in Sydney... it's almost a carbon copy just replace the sharks with someone of interest.

Interesting to note cows will get their first game up in Townsville...

The ridiculous thing about it is they keep making us start the season away. We are literally the only team that pulls +30k consistently so you'd think you would put us on Friday at home in front of a packed suncorp to make it look like fans actually want to go to games

I like it. Get it over with early. It happens a lot, teams coming together in round 1 where there's been a big-name player move. I remember thrashing Petero's Panthers, Parker getting his 24 points, one try and 10/10 goals.

Like someone quoted earlier, that would have been the smart thing to do; everything the NRL is not.
