Taking things in the other direction from the existing thread.
Storm's management has been cleared out, they're looking to rebuild their reputation, and whoever is in charge has said 'Righto. We need 2 things. First thing is a big-name AFL player to grab attention, but preferably one that will play the game well. Second thing is, we need the experts at BHQ to pick him.'
Who do you take?
I'd love to see how Lance Franklin would go in the centres. He has the build, speed and strength to terrify out wide.
Also, just because I love him, I'd throw huge money at Tadhg Kennelly. I just love watching this bloke play. I can't put my finger on why, but he really stands out on the field.

Franklin is one of the hardest bumpers in all of AFL, I'd gladly have him in any centre slot.

I'd also like to see Ablett, I think he's naturally gifted enough to pull a move to 5/8 off..

Geelong's Steve Johnson would be my target. Very evasive and skillful athlete and could hit a 10 cent piece with a 50 metre kick. Would be a great fullback I reckon.
