A few points:

- Brendan McCullum, what an innings. 158 off 73 with 13 sixes!
- Weird seeing Ponting and Sharma on the same team.
- The game/entertainment seems very plastic and hideous, much moreso than the T20's we're used to seeing.
- Indian fielders are monumentally crap. Its easy to see why we've dominated for so long and why we'll continue to be the benchmark when you get a glimpse of other countries domestic "talent".

- The KnightRiders obnoxiously loud gold helmets are beyond awesome.
- There must be some healthy egos among the billionaires who own the fanchaises. Only 8 teams but there are the Royals, Royal Challengers, SuperKings and Kings XI in the same comp. Some serious post-colonial issues there.

Loved the Knightriders, and what about there owner jumping the grandstand rail and dancing on the front of the grandstand [icon_lol1.

McCallum was on fire, he took to Noffke like he was a fifth grader. And yes Mark those helmets were awesome and the pads to boot

Mccullums innings was just ridiculous!! But hes capable of doing that at any time. Hes been NZ's in form player over the summer, so he deserves all the praise he gets for that innings

Harbhajan Singh 'slaps' Sreesanth

Harbhajan Singh is back in the limelight for the wrong reasons. After the racial slur drama, Harbhajan, leading the Mumbai IPL team, allegedly slapped paceman S. Sreesanth, who represents Mohali, after the IPL match on Friday night.

The incident happened when the teams were shaking hands at the end of the match. Sreesanth broke into tears and his teammates had to console him and take him to the dressing room.
