NEWS Inside the pre-season camp

It looked pretty intense. I know I shouldn't be optimistic but I can't help myself! We might have a solid year.

good practice for when he has to go through the police academy ... hopefully he already has his application in ...

I don't suppose any of the coppers on the forum could put in a good word for him 😁

Absolutely, seems like a good fella. If he wants to join up, I would. Assuming he does the right thing by the Broncs of course...

Lodge and Glenn seemed to be leading going off 7’s footage, dunno if it’s worth reading into

I wouldn’t read much into it. Gillett was doing similar a few seasons ago. I would say it’s because they are leaders in the squad.

I struggle to put much stock into the intensity of pre-season training. Yes it's great that they're keeping fit, but that is kind of the least they can do considering they play for the Broncos. They just need to get their asses back out onto the field in March and remember the feeling they had the last time they were out there, and then do something to make sure they never feel that way again.

The ruse behind these corporate team building stunts is they’re usually about identifying leaders. A superfluous exercise when you’re playing team sport all day every day. Maybe it’s a way of getting to know each other, I don’t know. As long as they’re getting fitter.
