Five weeks with a guilty plea. Thoughts?

I honestly think he should be scrubbed for 12 weeks minimum. 5 isn't enough for something that could have broken a blokes neck.

it didn't look accidental, it looked idiotic.

Graham got 12 weeks for biting an ear, which is more dangerous?

I don't even have the word/s to describe the how the judiciary determines how many weeks a player gets.

The word consistency doesn't even exist.

It was dangerous but I think it was just wrestling technique gone wrong. Most of the Bulldogs tackles consisted of players grabbing one leg and twisting it around or lifting it up in some way to slow the play the ball down.

Inu was trying to bring down one of the hardest players to tackle and Jackson loses grip (or doesn't really try to grab hold) of Inglis up top, this basically gives Inu's more aggressive actions below, no opposite force. If Jackson has Inglis wrapped up high, they most probably both fall down in a normal tackle or the refs call held, I am not saying any blame can be placed on Jackson though as Inu is at fault.

On length of the suspension, we all know the word consistency at the judiciary seems to be a very hard one to spell. I am ok with 7 weeks and he is extremely lucky he has a good record to get it down to 5 if he is stupid enough to not take the early plea.

Sould get 8 weeks for it imo.

I think the thing when comparing it to Grahams ear biting on Slater is that it's hard to argue biting someones ear is accidental. Sure Inu's tackle was reckelss and dangerous, but was it intentional?

5 weeks isn't enough even considering his clean record. It's a bloody dangerous tackle. Needs to be 8 weeks minimum.

With loading for being a bulldog, I'd give him 20 years

Going to be an unpopular opinion, but I think 5 weeks is fine with the guilty plea. Yes it was a bad tackle and very dangerous, but there was no malicious intent, just poor technique.

I blame GI for the tackle going wrong. :001_tt2:

I agree with you mate, but I'm not going to complain either if he gets 10 weeks or whatever.

There was definitely no intent, and it's not like Inu has a record for doing dodgy shit, like some of those other thugs out there COUGH Watmuff COUGH.

He just made a complete hash of it. Definitely needs to be more careful in the future, could've ended really badly.

I think any tackle like that ends up with a spear tackle and started with a hand between the legs should be smashed, 8 weeks mandatory. That will stop players from putting the hand between the legs. The hand between the legs is what they have to stop because it opens the way for a tackle to go wrong.
Even in this case Inu was probably a touch unlucky because the other player had Inglis' upper body weight then let go but nothing would have happened if Inu didn't have his hand between his legs.

Did anyone else think that Inglis did a little hop and helped things along a bit? because it looked a bit like that to me.

"Why are spear tackling yourself? Why are you spear tackling yourself? Why are you spear tackling yourself?"

I reckon as soon as a player puts their hands betweens another players legs in a lifting/leveraging motion it should be a penalty.

Just another rule for them to **** up.

Don't put your hand between a player's legs. Ever. Ever.

While performing a tackle that is... Wouldn't want to trash all the fan girls (and some boys) dreams! :001_tt2:
