That bloke is a waste of space. Everything he writes is crap.

Des Hasler at number one? Turn it up.

Damn, I knew there was a hook but I just had to bite.

Get used to him folks, looks like the Board are going to offer him a one year extension to his two year deal

Absolute madness. Not as if he will be demand and we need to lock him up. At least finish season one, and see how he starts season 2 Bruno, rather than have to pay out 2 years rather than 1 when we need to boot him. [icon_non

Once again I find myself in full agreement with you Russo. That could only be regarded as a charity decision to give him a bit of a cuddle and boost his confidence.

Cullen said a decision on Henjak's future would be made before the 2010 season, but insisted he was happy with the way he had conducted himself given the pressure of recent weeks.

This to me is the most telling quote in the article. Publicly you back him without committing to an extension but leave the door well and truly open for IH to be punted.

At a guess I think Bruno would be making every effort to secure a new coach but until he does he will continue to back IH.

Good news here, apparently Cullen is going to offer him a 1 yr extension. Just goes to show he has no clue at all. Get the petition to get rid of them both going!

I'm actually not sure it's a terrible idea. We all know contracts mean nothing these days, and the Broncos can certainly afford to pay out one year of a rookie coach's salary if they're not happy at the end of 2010.

What it does do is take the pressure off for next year and allows Henjak to focus on football rather than trying desperately to save his job. It gives him the best possible chance of performing well next year IMO.

Interesting take Schmix, could be on the money

Sounds a bit like another CEO around town who came out and has supported the coach to continue thus taking the focus of himself, when all the time he himself is looking for other work on the quiet to jump ship

Henjak can stay another year but Bruno must go he is destroying the Broncos...

The other theory I have is that Bruno has waited a good 6 years to finally have full control over this club, and he's not about to give it up that easily to a different coach with more resolve.
