Knights set to sign Ben Hunt

I'm gonna dead set spew if that happens. Wouldnt shock me if it does because we've had some pretty fucked up ways of trying to keep our juniors of late.

this will **** me off so hard. he will kill it i just know it. Fucking Hook should play him

Settle the **** down people. We still have Peter Wallace.....

Of Norman and Hunt, I always thought Hunt was more likely given the limited chances he's had.

Norman gets every opportunity and failed and still has signed elsewhere. Talk about all our eggs in one basket.

Would not be surprised in the slightest, though you'd think his prospects of picking up the 6 or 7 have improved dramatically with Norman pissing off.

The next 5 years at the Broncos....

Not sure why he would sign with the Knights with Mullen, Roberts, Gidley and even Smith ahead of him in the halves

I'm sceptical, Knights don't need him in the halves or at 9, or even off the bench. I don't think they would be breaking the bank to sign him. I'm sure he will get offers from a handful of clubs though, dragons seem most logical at this stage if he were to be let go.

If i was him i would want to leave too. Having to sit on the bench as a back up hooker for the last few seasons, while two bumbling idiots ruin the team.

If they let him go without even giving him an extended shot this year, then the powers that be have truly lost it. At least we know Norman is unlikely to make us regret losing him. If Hunt leaves and establishes himself as even a decent half while we persist with Wallace and Prince (or whichever blow-in replaces him) then it would just be laughably bad management.

Gidley spends more time on the sidelines than hodges and dugan combined and is 31 this year, so hes as good as gone. basically he then just has to fight roberts for a halves position as mullen has a mortgage on the other. hes not getting a broncos halves position any time soon, so why not try somewhere else?

going very much against the grain here but I'm not fussed at all that Ben Hunt is moving on, if that's what ends up happening ... I don't think he's the complete package as a half and I strongly doubt he's the 'great white hope' that many seem to think he is in terms of turning things around for the broncos in the number 7 department ..

I kind of think he's a bit similar to that Ian Lacey midget we had a few years ago ... having said all that, of all the current broncos he's probably the player I know the least about - for obvious reasons as many here have already pointed out.

Yeah, makes no sense. You'd think he'd be doing all he can to go to the Dragons, but not the Knights.

The sad thing is that we'll only have Wallace and Prince as our halves, and no depth. And Prince is like 100. Unless the club is on the verge of signing a quality half, I have no idea what they are thinking.

hes got more potential than wallace has actual proven talent, thats why i think people are fussed. we need him because the halves we've got and have invested time in are all duds and/or leaving. in his few games in the halves hes shown enough to show that he could give it a good shake.

and again - we have noone else.
