Thank you for your ongoing loyalty and support during this 25th Anniversary Year, despite some disappointing on-field results.

I can promise you that the players, coaches and admin staff are all acutely aware of and equally share your current frustration.

Like you – we are feeling the losses and we are listening and acknowledging your feedback.

Be rest assured your voice is being heard loud and clear and we are doing ALL that we can behind the scenes to get us back to where we need to be.

We ask that you remain patient and understand that some of the work we are doing cannot be publicised.

We will not make ‘knee-jerk’ reactions without clearly having an alternative plan.

On the plus side – the Origin ‘drain’ ends this week and we get all our players back for the rest of the season, we can still make the finals, and we have four home games in the last seven weeks – including a rare Sunday game against the Dragons.

We do set very high expectations on ourselves and we demand results - and you have come to expect nothing less from the Broncos.

And with our season now on the line – expect to see us giving everything in the run home to Round 26.

Finally, to show how much we value our members and their feedback – the Coach and I will be making ourselves available to you for Live Chats on the Broncos website in the coming weeks (details below).

Our Coach Anthony Griffin is going first next Tuesday night 23 July from 7-8pm because I know many of you have strong comments on team selections, player positions and performances.

He will try to answer as many of your questions as he can, so please take this opportunity to go ‘one-on-one’ with the Coach – a very direct, honest, straight-shooting and respectful man with an enormous knowledge of rugby league and coaching strategies.

I look forward to speaking with you in the next members-only forum after your first session with the Coach.

Until then, please stand behind your club – because we really need your support and ‘vocal lift’ at the games to get our boys home.

Not a move I'd expect from the Broncos - other clubs maybe - at least it shows they're aware of some of the shit we've been served up this season, and the growing pessimism amongst supporters.

Requested my login, I'm pretty interested to see what Hook will and won't answer. Obviously recruitment is off the table so I'm guessing the big questions will be around our spine and players playing out of position. I'd like to get his opinion on Hunt vs Granville/Baptiste off the bench.

What are the chances of the Broncos entering their own reserve team in the Queensland Cup?

The Granville/Baptiste thing would be fantastic to know.

Some other possible things would be

Why isn't Hunt being tried at halfback? Are you just looking after your own butt for now?
Why have we continuously gone away from forwards passing the ball before the line even though it both looked good and was effective?
What do you actually see in Norman?
Why aren't you getting Macca to work on his service like a real hooker more?
Who is supposed to be organising the side?
Why don't we have a good defensive coach?

There'll be plenty of 'over-zealous' questions, that's why they'll have someone moderating it and only publish answers which suit the the club's angle.

It's a PR exercise, I wouldn't be expecting any great answers... probably just run of the mill stuff which we hear each week in press conferences.

Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Eh, I'd rather do this once and answer some tough questions everyone is wondering about, rather than worrying about it never happening again by asking simple generic media style questions.

Yes but there are ways to phrase these questions that could provide us with the answers we're searching for. If the feed is dominated with 'LOL y u even bofer with Wallace? he shit' then the only questions we'll get answered are boring membership questions about gold fish memberships.

Hook has shown in the past that he's willing to co-operate with the fanbase and provide answers to questions we've been after. If you show him the right respect, then we might get the clarity we're so desperately after.

Couldn't agree more with this. This could provide fans with a lot of answers so I hope it's not ruined by people wanting to vent or act like children.
