So I was given the great man's autobiography for father's day and it's an enjoyable enough read - pretty standard fare for these books.
However I was amused by the number of errors in the printing of it. Most of them amount to typos suggesting that they rushed it out and didn't edit it properly. The funniest one was where they (Lockyer and Koch) referred to Hook as Anthony Griffiths. Who knows maybe this print run will become collectibles thanks to the mistakes.
Anyway, there's a comment from Bennett in there that I found interesting. Locky was discussing Langer's return to Brisbane in 2002 and a short comment from Bennett ran something like this:
2002 was a premiership that got away. It's so sad to think that someone other than a player from either team decided the result of our season.
Does anyone remember what Bennett is talking about here? Was it a refereeing error or was someone suspended?
