I dont think Nathan Brown should have came out with that. I think it was un intellegent as 1 comment wont stop the storm defence practice. Sure everyone agrees with him but hes just got himself into trouble by inciting violence . The refs really need to buckle down on their tackling techniques . Bellamy needs to sit down and look at their tackling and try to scrap out the dirty techniques there using.If he isnt telling his boys to do them then he should be a real leader by letting his boys know that they cant be using them.If not hes just as dirty as they are.Always hated Slater cant stand the bloke.....

What a joke.Dragons were as dirty as the Storm. Like the headbutt in the play the ball by the Dragons that went unnoticed by the ref. just to mention one incident.
All the teams are guilty of doing majority of what the Storm are doing and this may come back to bite Brownie cos it will be focused on at all the games now.

Good on Billy for fighting the charge and getting it downgraded. All in brawl what the hell. Billy probably didn't care that he is not going to N.Z. this weekend either and can (hope)stay home with his pregnant partner.

FTR, I think Saints played the whole scenario out well. There is now a little pressure to crack down on the Storm's tactics......again.

I mean, how long do we all have to whinge about this? The Dragons/Storm game was almost a mirror reflection of the last Bronco/Storm game of 07. Remember, our players basically heated it up, just like the Dragons did.

Well done Brownie, NRL fix the tackles up. Everyone is whinging about kicks, shit, if we had quicker play the balls, maybe we could get more tries through tired defence.

Good on him, it is good to see someone try to hold the Storm accountable for their actions. It is sad the Storm resort to some of the things they do because they are better than that and would win the same amount of football without them. I hope other sides get stuck into them if/when they cross the line to fuel this situation even more.

I agree - loved Brownie's comments, long over-due. As he said though it's not entirely the Storm's fault - they are doing as much as the refs will let them get away with. I know they shouldn't do it in the first place, but the ref's definitely need to crack down harder to get it out of the game.

Also saw Laurie Daley on the footy show last night trying to defend the Storm and say "I know Craig Bellamy, he's a great guy and he would never actually coach his players to do that, it is just something that happens in the wrestle" or words to that effects. To that I say "B-S Daley", I know for a fact they coach it - my brother was taught it in Colts when he was in the Melbourne system - that's 16-19 year old players and that was about 5 years ago - so of course they are coaching it at all levels of their club. Secondly if it was something they coached and practiced how would all of their players 'just happen' to do the exact same thing. Seriously Daley - get a clue.

Yeah saw that from Loz last night too, he really just looked stupid as did Matty as they poured on vision of the different tackles the Storm apply throughout a game. They Storm are the cancer and the Ref's are the potential cure unfortunately our ref's are going so crap at the moment it is hard to see them handling any other rule changes or crackdowns.

That is definetly the way to stop the Storm. If every club shows up with the knuckle attitude, the Storm's tactics will be stopped quickly, because the NRL will have no other option but to crack down on wrestling.
