Jimmy Butler wants to sign with the Lakers on a 1 year deal which makes me sad.

He will be a Bull no matter what happens, they'll match any offer thrown at him. He has also put his meetings with other teams on hold after receiving two offers from Chicago. He won't be going anywhere, or winning a ring for awhile.

Time to change my avatar as well, seems Swaggy P won't be in LA shortly.

Seems like it, we're trying our hardest to offload him and Kelly to make some cap space.

Can't see us affording both, I'd be cool with LaMarcus and Robin Lopez or something.

Simply need to convince one to sign for less now with the promise of upgrading say a 2+1 deal and the other is likely to take a cut when they see a team consisting of Kobe, 3 talented rookies and LA/Jordan whoever we can convince first.

We've met with LA, spent 2hrs with him and apparently it went awesome. Nets are set to sign Lopez and Thad Young as well.

Being an LA boy, nothing would make me happier than cleaning house of Young, Lin,Hill, Kelley, etc to free up space for DeAndre Jordan and Aldridge. Probably a pipe dream. I think if it's one or the other between Jordan and Aldridge, I might be inclined to go Jordan because he is a pure center whereas Aldridge really prefers to play PF. Also I have a feeling that Randall might be a really solid PF in his own right.

Just need to get Kobe to drop half his salary for the next year and make it happen.:takdir:

Brook Lopez, Robin will still be available, and he's much cheaper.

Robin is a good failsafe if we miss out on DeAndre.

Aldridge apparently unimpressed with Lakers presentation, says he didn't "gel" with Kobe.

Liked the presentation from the Rockets and Spurs...

and Spurs traded away Splitter this morning, it's happening!

Won't let me edit my post on mobile for some reason, but here's a tweet from Danny Green after resigning;

Now all we need is the one last piece and it could get interesting lol...@aldridge_12

More fuel for the fire...

Millsap staying with the Hawks, Wright to the Grizzlies, Pierce to the Clippers..

Lakers are seriously running out of options, it's all about Aldridge, Monroe & DeAndre right now.

Nobody wants to play with Kobe

Maybe so but they should at least keep in mind that he has a year or two at best left in him. I think the bigger issue is the ownership. Jerry Buss was a hell of an owner. His son is a retard... and one that even avid Laker fans can't stand.

Thinking Monroe might be the best pick here. I like DeAndre Jordan in his hops and defensive ability but still worry about his ability to hit a free throw when it counts. You could tolerate it in the Shaq days because he could score 30 on a regular basis.
