Need some advice, slowly buying parts for a new Ryzen 7 3700x build. I'm looking for a case, power supply and what additional cooling would be suitable at a decent price.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Gigabyte X570 GAMING X AM4 Motherboard (bought)
G.Skill 16GB RAM(2x8G) 3200mhz (bought)
MSI Nvidia MSI 1080 GTX (Current Machine)
Gigabyte AORUS 1TB M.@ NVME SSD PCIe GEN 4
SSD2 Samsung EVO 250GB (Current Machine)
SSD2 Samsung EVO 250GB (Current Machine)
ASUS Xonar DGX PCiE Sound Card (current Machine)
Depends what you like really but I love Fractal Cases. I have a Meshify C and love the shit out of it, not sure if they still make them though. The case is on the small side though, drives mount behind the MB plate and there's no optical bays. I don't think the next gen of CPU's is that far off though Kimlo Kimlo will be able to tell you more about that. No idea about PSU's but I think I'm running a Corsair and it's been solid for me for a while now. When it comes to cooling, the stock HS is great imo, plus it's RGB.

I could probably hold off buying the CPU till the Ryzen 4 desktop range come out (I believe later in the year) and get it finalised then. Don't need to worry about optical bays. Just looking for a suitable case and power supply.

You don't need extra cooling if you don't want to spend the money. The Wraith Prism is a good cooler.

I run a Corsair HX850i. RX is another good series (That's your one isn't it Kimlo Kimlo?) - They run actual Corsair fans that are nice and quiet.

Edit: Whatever case you buy, keep the front panel on. They look better. ;-)

Built a mate's new rig for him. Apart from choosing a lesser case than recommended, he's rocking a nice PC.

Sweet build there Nashy, looks similar to my own! Going to upgrade my 1080 gtx when the new 3XXX range comes out, don't see the point in getting the current 2XXX's given they only offer a slight performance improvement and ray tracing.

I'm holding off as well. My 1070 is still doing me proud atm

That is why I held off, all the 2xxx's really added was ray tracing, performance wise they weren't much better then the last ones. Whereas the 3xxx's will be a considerable boost. That 3070 is a real bargain for those who are in the older generations and looking for an upgrade, that 3090 what a beast but far out you pay for it LOL
