Newcastle Knights rebuild

Hypothetical here, if you were rebuilding the knights what players would you sign for them. Lets try and be realistic and look at players that are on the outer at their respective clubs or off contract and not just cherry picking high level talent wouldn't be easy for them at the moment.

Ok, I would offload the following if you could

Jarrod Mullen, Akuila Uate, James McManus

Then I would look at targeting these players

James Segeyaro, Zak Hardaker. Greg Eastwood, Luke Lewis, Brenton Lawrence, Joel Thompson, Suaso Sue, Robbie Farah, Sam Tagatese

If they cut some dead weight, they could potentially rebuild with these sort of players in one or two years. Getting the players there would be a big ask to start with but if they could, they could turn things around quick enough. Getting some crucial forwards that are leaders should be there first priority

James McManus is already retired.

They definitely need to get rid of Mullen and Uate. Step one. Those two guys look like they think they're as valuable as the Johns brothers, when they clearly aren't. They're rubbish and they're as toxic as Farrah is to the Tigers.
