News through today that QLD Bulls All ROunder Ashley Noffke is going to play for Western Australia next season [icon_thumbs_do

That's on par with Petro going to play for the Panthers.

it's ontop of losing Watson to NSW and the retirement of in the last 18 months of Love, Bichel, Kasper & Maher

AND Johnson going to WA as well.

What is going on at the Bulls!

The Bulls only have themselves to blame for this one IMO. Noffke wanted to play all forms of the game but the Bulls wanted him to be Sheffield shield specialist. Johnson will never play for WA anyway so meh.... Watson went to Sydney chasing tail his move couldn't be prevented.

If WA don't win the Sheffield Shield this year then there is something wrong with them.

North, Marsh, Pomersbach, Voges, Ronchi coupled with Noffke, Johnson (probably won't play anyway), Magoffin etc.

QLD are in trouble.

I looked at this and went WTF!

Have the QLD selectors and board members been watching his performances in all forms of the game. He has been a superstar for QLD in the past 3 season when they have had very little experience and quality out on the paddock. This is particularly evident with his selection for Australia and him being on the verge of test selection.

Stupid stupid move by the bulls. I must say I didnt know about Watson either.

Is their best player now Chris Simpson?? Because he was nothing short of horrendous last year and has been for most of his career.

The Bulls will still have a competitive team

- We still got Hopesy when his not on Aust ODI duties. And Lee Carseldine was one of the form Domestic Batsman last season
- Hartley is arguably the best gloveman in Australia.
- Opener Ryan Broad started to realise his potential last year
- And with out being super stars Harris, Laughlin, Swan, Rimmington & Cutting are all solid bowlers

It will be up to the likes of Simpson, Kruger, Moller, And Reardon to find consistency and live up to potential.

The wildcard (literally) could be Symonds who is still weighing up his options.

Hartley is the best gloveman in the country... He should have got a CA contract no that old fart Manou.

Yeah Hartley should be going to the Ashes as the backup not that old piece of crap Manou.
