with 3 byes for the season ... Why would the Dragons need to rest a non-origin player (Jack Bird)?

with 3 byes for the season ... Why would the Dragons need to rest a non-origin player (Jack Bird)?

Knee soreness. Given his history, they aren't taking chances.

Not one Raider was onside during that set on their line, they were tackling Simpkin before he touched the ball and gave away three six agains. Then next time they have the ball they get a penalty.

Wighton has literally just tackled multiple tigers players that were dragging the winger to the sideline... is that not a player interferring with the defenders?

He should've been penalised... it was blatant as well

Sutton giving a lot of favourable calls to raiders so far... mustn't want to face the Ricky press conference tonight

That's EXACTLY like Walsh's-video-ref-jedi-mind-reading no try......

Another favourable call to raiders with the dropped ball.

Kobe had a knock on called against him for losing it backwards due to contact in the tackle
That's what I thought live and it looked like the Tigers did too because they weren't as alert as they should have been.

Not a lot in this game so far. Wests are using the ball more positively but aren't quite executing. Whereas Canberra are playing the odds and scoring some arsey tries.

No way.

The only similarity is that Wighton goes early. He doesn't then wipe out Bula and then attempt to catch the kick.
He supposedly pnly had eyes for the player, not the ball. Walsh actually touched the ball, wighton literally pulled his hands away.
He jumped early and pulled his hands away from attempting to catch it, was he trying to catch it?

Hands between the legs and completely unnecessary should be in the bin for that

How the **** is he not in the bin??

Three man tackle, runner going nowhere and he tips him vertical with his hands between the legs

Tom Delonge Wtf GIF

Knock on by raiders... nope... luckily Sutton found an offside well after the fact

Cotric jumping early miles from the ball and bumps the tigers player forcing a knock on... nope... play on

Must be a different set of rules for this game

This is a poor quality game. The Tigers No. 1 (Bulla?) is so ineffective on the sweep plays, he also has poor pass selection in passing to his marked centre instead of his unmarked winger. I also do not understand why there is never a crash play to Twal near the line. Twal stands flat and waits on the pass and often goes for a wrap-around or offload play, but he doesn't back himself at all for a decent run, even when he is bending the line. It isn't as if the dummy half isn't capable of making that pass.

Hopeless tigers. Seriously.

I've sort of half been paying attention but man, Canberra seem to be doing constant second / third efforts, are rarely onside and making absolutely no attempts to roll away from the ruck and it is all play on.

We constantly hear about wanting a faster game and Canberra are just laying in the ruck almost every single tackle and slowing it down something shocking. 8 set restarts and all of them are warranted, someone should have been in the bin FAR earlier than this to cut it out.
