So, at least I am honest that I was happy to lose.

Would prefer to lose in the qualifying semi, than losing in the GF.

Deadset, that was the most horrible loss I have ever experienced as a Broncos fan. I'm sure other who have supported them far longer than me agree.

Anyone who is happy about it are nuts.

I was over the loss about 5 mins after the game.

IMO: Our worst loss was against the Panthers when we were leading with about 3 mins to go & the Panthers scored twice to even the game up & won in extra time. (well I think that's what happened.)

i was over it when i watched the Grand final with my brother in law who is a Storm Fan.

Kaz.. that loss against the Panthers was terrible but it was just a regular season game. The Storm match was one with a hell of a lot more at stake. I'm over it now but at the time it was absolutely devastating.

As for this year? Broncos v Dragons grand final. :twisted:

LOLZ at people saying we would not have won the Grand Final if we made it. Manly were good because the Storm were shit! And since when has being the under-dogs ever stopped us winning the GF?

[icon_lol1. First off we would not have beaten that Manly team given our form vs their form, they peaked at the right time and killed everyone in the semi's that year. Secondly we have been favourite in 5 of our 6 grand final victories (although in 1993 we finished 5th we had a far better side than they did and only a knob would have backed St George given the players we had out there for a big game). Regardless of that the Storm loss hurt like hell because we should have won but we just tried to hold on for the last 20 minutes, had Hannant get held up, have Bennett leave a fresh prop in Clinton on the bench while the guys out there were exhaisted and Sims drop a ball to gift them the win. As you say Rocky that match haunts me too.

That's actually not possible. (Which is a good thing). We are down the other side of the line, so we'll have to play Saints in the prelim.

Rubbish! The only combinations that can't happen in this system is dragons vs newcastle and bulldogs vs eels.

What???????? Against the Panthers we lost 2 points. Against the Storm we lost a Grand Final appearance (and I'd have backed us in to win that game too)!!!!!!

Yeah I agree. I was ready to party in the streets that night. I was blind had my Jersey on and was loving until the dropped ball. I heard my heart crack in half.

I was literally about 10 metres from where that last try was scored. My kids were already counting the clock ready to scream and yell and wave their flags. We were so excited until then. The stunned silence from all around at full-time was deafening. When the siren went my son was like "So, have we won now??". GAHH!!!!
