The issue with Folau was when he started with the hate posts on Social media, it's not the same thing.

The media went to Brookie the other day to try question the players and to their credit they shut their mouths and said nothing.

I mean compare it yourself: View attachment 19374

O'Brien needs a massive bagging for his post match press conference.

basically begging for time to fix things (he is coming to the end of his 3rd season in charge at the Knights)

then talking up his record as an assistant

Vlandys has reportedly "had enough" of this late player movement (up to Aug 1) ... so next year he'll revert the deadline back to June 30

2020 it was a good choice- the season ran later and they moved it back.

Problem was the clubs and player’s union said we like this and it was never reviewed or taken back.

If you leave something long enough clubs will find a way to exploit it. 21 could have been stopped at anytime and season run late so even an excuse for last year but now in 22 it should have been taken back to June 30.

It should never be permanently at Sydney anyway, it should be rotated with Brisbane and or moved to each capital city at random(like how NFL does it with the Superbowl)because it will be a sellout anywhere you put it in the country.

Heck you could even put it in England and it would easily sellout Old trafford or Wembley, the poms crave high quality league(though it would atleast need to be TV friendly for Aus so it would have to be a mid day game).

Stuart Ayres is "confident" that the NRL "will do the right thing" and keep the GF in Sydney (obviously despite the NSW Government going back on their agreement)

I have seen talk that there will still be funding for a new Penrith stadium (happens to be in Stuart Ayres electorate)

New SFS looks good I just laughed when I saw their jumbotron. Diagrams three years ago had it wrapping around the entire far end like Olympic Stadium but theyve ended up with a smaller one than Suncorp 🤪
