What do you think about this,
Hargreaves tried to take ones head off, cleared.
Sam Burgess , pulls some hair, one week.

JWH never should have been charged.

There was nothing wrong with the tackle. Knight was falling, JWH didn't come in with a swinging arm, it wasn't a shoulder charge. He had already committed to the tackle prior to Knight falling. It was just bad timing, nothing more. It was one of those unfortunate moments that can happen throughout a game.

Burgess was charged for multiple indiscretions throughout the year. At some point the NRL have to stop fining players.

What about TPJ

Explain that to TPJ

Explain that to TPJ

TPJ's incident was different.

The MRC were actually right to charge him as it was a crusher tackle. He just should not have been charged with a Grade 2. He should not have been suspended for any more than a couple of weeks.

I think he means TPJ on Philip Sami.

Warea-Hargreaves argued that Liam Knight swung his arm which caused him to flinch making the collision unavoidable.

Personally I think Warea Hargreaves swings his right arm into the tackle and the way he approached the tackle made it appear he tried to put a shot on. However, since Knight was falling he got it all wrong.

He's lucky to get off.

As long as someone gets 10 in the bin and 2 weeks off for tackling Cronk as he's passing at least they will prove their consistency.

Why was the player falling into the tackle not a valid excuse for Pangai, or a million other players suspended over the last few years? Hell, Edwards was 20cm off the ground, perhaps Turpin should have been let off too!

Because they argued that as Liam Knight was falling to the ground his arm swung around which caused JWH to involuntarily react. In the Pangai on Sami case, Pangai couldn't make that argument.

And they bought that? I suppose ex-football players aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.

You're not wrong, they'll look for any excuse to let themselves off the hook, even when it's obvious a player has stuffed up.

lmao that'll do me. Nowhere in the footage can I see JWH react to anything, he was always going to make the sort of impact he did.

Who cares. I'd rather Roosters win than Souths. Ever since that grub Jimmy the drunk did that grub shit to Oates Roosters have gone above them imo.

Well give it about 15 minutes and Kane Evans will be not guilty because the ball carrier made him do it.

Completely agree Pete. JWH throws his shoulder forward, that is clear. If he can do that to ensure force then he can pull out to ensure the least contact .
They keep arguing not to judge it on the end result ( knights injury ) but that only happened because of the contact from JWH.
All that aside, who tackles with their arm rigid and beside their body like that? if LK dropped so quickly which supposedly fooled JWh why wasn't JWHs arm up in a wrapping motion where he thought the contact was going to be??
The dog ate my homework. Another embarrassing judiciary outcome.
