NRL Players and family members in hot water

So you get less for actual physical assault than you do for yelling some bad words.
Feel like im taking crazy pills sometimes.

we can add bar fight to the list of offences far less serious than swearing at police ... seriously what the NRL is really saying is next time come out swinging.

Phoenix Crossland has been suspended for 1 match and find $900 (half suspended) for his involvement in an altercation at a Newcastle pub

here is what the NRL said about the penalty:

“In determining the penalty, the NRL took into account that the player proactively reported the incident, co-operated with the Integrity Unit and written submissions made in response to a Breach Notice,” a statement read.

Radley now in trouble for heabutting somebody. Being a Rooster, he will get away with it.

is it too premature to add headbutting to the list of offences less serious than swearing at police
Still haven't heard of a punishment for Niu driving unlicensed.

I suspect it will be on par with abusing police, but obviously not as bad as punching a bloke at the pub, drink driving or head butting some dude (assuming)

Radley gets a 2 game suspension (effectively 1 game since he is permitted to count round 1 as part of his suspension) and a 20k fine.

you can add tackling someone (reported as a tackle not a headbutt) as a lesser offense than swearing at two police officers

Fucking joke of an organization.
You got blokes getting firearm offenses during quarantine being punished less than guys going to a barber shop, and now you got guys committing physical violence getting less than others guys yelling some swears.

It wouldn't be the NRL if it wasn't consistently inconsistent.

Bunch of fucking muppets.

Jarryd Hayne found guilty of rape.
Pretty sordid sort of stuff. Just read a fair bit of her testimony and it gave out a very mixed message. Still, no means no and he should have left. His defence that it was consensual looks very weak even allowing for the fact that she 'talked a good game' in her transcripts and texts. She had every right to expect him to piss off when told. Thought he was religious? Mmm, that might just be me but...
