NRL Players and family members in hot water

This **** can cry me a river. He wasn’t just looking at kiddie porn, he was a member of an underground club that would have phone conference calls with each other and discuss the kiddie porn they had been watching. If anything he was loud and proud of his….ahem…..sexuality.

It's alleged by him that he only spoke about performing sexual acts to underage boys to score drugs.

He alleged that he was addicted to cocaine, talked about going on 5 day benders, and all of the dealers on his phone didn't have any supply due to COVID being rampant at the time, but one of his dealers told him he could score drugs on a shady gay sex chat room. He went in there and saw they were the types interested in little boys and started talking about performing sexual acts on boys to strike up enough of a friendship with one of the people in the chat room to score cocaine.

Apparently when one of them responded with similar messages, he felt disgusted and stopped it then and there.

Whether that's bullshit or not, who knows? That's just what he is saying is the real story. Even if it is true, it's a pretty shit excuse. I know that when addicts are desperate, their moral compass goes right out the window and they would do anything for a fix, but what he is saying is a bit extreme. That's just too far.

I at least buy the addicted to drugs part of the story. Watching him on Matty Johns podcast etc, he was quite erratic. He was showing all of the signs of an addict.
I won’t say how I know but getting cocaine in Sydney during lockdown was definitely not “pretend to be a horrific sex offender on a cooked chat” difficult

That's a pretty weak excuse man. I can't really remember what happened, but wasn't he nabbed in one of those sting operations? Where they sweep up a pile of them all at once.

I'm no crime expert and I certainly won't pretend to be one but having watched the crime documentaries I have seen.. they usually end up dead or in jail.

I just don't get the appeal, do they think they can buck the trend or something?
My feeling is they don't think at all - apart from the obvious few, footy players aren't a bright lot.

Lol.

The St George Illawarra Dragons are aware of a letter from Chairman Craig Young on club letterhead supporting Brett Finch in his ongoing court case.

This statement was provided in a personal capacity and was not supported or approved by the club.
"It was an error in judgement to put this statement on club letterhead," Young said.

"I was asked to provide a letter of support to a family friend who I believe made a serious mistake but is a fundamentally decent person.

"I should not have connected the club to this matter and would like to apologise to members, fans, sponsors and all other stakeholders for any distress caused."

I was wondering how long it would take until the Dragons came out with that statement.

Using club letterhead to write a character reference in support of a pedo.. Idiot.

No problems with him writing a character reference for a kid he most likely knew his whole life but using the corporate letterhead is just a dumb move especially when you don't own the company.

What a **** up. Wasnt even written well. He and hook might be on holidays together soon. Flanno as coach. Young was the one pushing for a dragons blood coach.
