NRL rocked as yet another sex tape emerges

    Andrew WebsterMarch 1, 2019 — 6.10pm

The NRL has launched an investigation into the leak of another lurid sex video allegedly involving a high-profile player from Penrith.

More drama: Todd Greenberg and Peter Beattie have had a busy week.

Just hours after Bulldogs prop Dylan Napa was slapped with a $50,000 fine for his “Big Papi” sex tapes, a fresh video emerged on social media involving a player.

The Herald has chosen not to name the player because he can only be identified in the video by a tattoo on his forearm.

Still, the integrity unit says it is investigating the issue while the club in question has decided to rest the player from a trial match this weekend.

It is understood the video is nine months old.

NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg on Friday warned all players they could expect a lengthy ban from the game if any explicit videos taken and distributed from today made their way into the public domain.

Greenberg backed down on his previous desire to suspend Napa because the videos that have been the talk of the game were five years old.

The Panthers issued a statement on Friday evening saying they were co-operating with the NRL's integrity unit and would be making no further comment.

Does the NRL employ someone whose job is to search for and dig up player sex tapes?

At some point surely the NRL has to say so **** what. Sure if there is a criminal side to it then it has to be investigated but when some third party has leaked a consensual tape they should identify the piece of shit and call it for what it is.

Have you not (consentually) recorded a good **** session? I have, in many different scenarios. Not just me but her, too. Most have been destroyed, but I can understand with less brain cells and more profile = cash, opportunity begs.

I think he meant something everyone does, not what he typed.

I'm so over these knuckle heads who think they can do whatever they want and believe it's ok.
Sex tapes (porn) to you & me why would you do it and believe no-one else will see it.
There is obviously a rotten culture in the NRL. And work place culture is set at the top, then filters down.
If you have even the smallest understanding of workplace culture you know what I'm talking about.
The NRL has a very long road to travel, good luck to Greenberg & Co.

Sex tapes aren’t the issue in this case. Sharing them is. Even if both people consent to sharing it with someone they know as a laugh, it makes it that much more likely it’ll become public.

  12. She holds the camera at one point... I think that is the very definition of consentual...

But it’s not bright for the NRL fella, too many ways it can be used against him.

  14. What I want to know is if she consented to the video being shared.

If she didn't, then what that person did is illegal.

I’m sure she didn’t. I’ve not known of many chicks wanting to share that sort of thing. I have met a few that would be happy to, though. They were wild ones.

  16. I didn’t know what it was when it was first sent to me...

Just so I understand even if the woman held the Camara it is consensual, even if she is being verbally degraded and held around the neck in a chocking hold?
Obviously someone had more control in that situation and I'm not thinking it was her.

So the NRL player who's face was obscured, but his tattoo was recognised by some random, was tracked down and identified but the consenting adult female who's face was clear had her face blurred so she couldn't be identified.

WTF, am I missing something here. No crime, no complaint no problem. Why doesn't the male in this get afforded the same privacy instead of people running around trying to match up the tat.

I think maybe you need to get out a little more. Or stay in more. I have some websites you can peruse

Okay, guess we should probably start telling everyone in the world precisely what they can and can’t do eh?
