What a gutsy win.

Going into the game, it felt like the main talking point concerned the Eels keeping their spot in the top four - nobody really gave Brisbane that much of a shot.

Even at half-time, while the Broncos were gallant early, it seemed like the class of the Eels would get the better of them. However, a couple of determined efforts, particularly from Fauid and Allan, followed by two ice cold conversions from Burns was just what the doctor ordered.

Somebody must have watched it right?

I didn't Big Pete I wished I could but I had to follow it on twitter and from what I gathered it must have been an exciting game. There is a very slim chance the Broncos can still make the finals, they need to win next week and the Raiders need to lose this round and next.

Poor game. Typical 20s.

If a team could defend they'd win that comp undefeated.

34 - 32

Every thing that's wrong with that comp.

Completely disagree. Was a good game. The coach has done well this year with a very young team. Lots of up and coming unknowns. The team has played without there better known players the likes of hipgrave, Sua, Fai, Pangai and brimson a lot and are coming right at the end of the season but will be great next year. I enjoyed the game.

Melbourne did Brisbane a solid, ending the Raiders six game winning-streak, running out 34-26 winners yesterday.

As it stands, the Broncos have a real opportunity to make the Top 8. With an easier run home, the Broncos can surpass the Raiders and make the 8 based on their superior for and against (Broncos +46 v Raiders -134).

Here's the run home.

BRONCOS
vs Bulldogs (14th) (H)
vs Storm (12th*) (A)
vs Roosters (3rd*) (H)

RAIDERS
vs Eels (4th) (H)
vs Sea Eagles (16th) (A)
vs Wests Tigers (6th) (A)
