I don't know if the Roosters are pulling a swifty, but it looks that Latrell Mitchell won't be available for this clash. He's been named on an extended bench in the NRL, and while clubs tend to double-up, the Roosters have gone to the trouble of naming his replacement. I don't really understand the rationale here. It's not as if playing mind games will benefit the Roosters here, so odds are, he won't be playing.

Good to see Arrow named. I take it that last Friday was nothing more than a concussion?

i think jai has had a hip flexor injury in the past so i hope this hasnt flared again. he was hobbling badly against the dogs 2 weeks ago and didnt finsih the game then he only played short minutes last week.

Unfortunately I have heard that Jai will not be taking the field due to some type of injury sustained to his hip or thigh, Also Heard Lindsay is ruled out.
Would be interesting to know who has been called up.

Brisbane hold a commanding 24-6 lead going into half-time.

The Broncos have coasted to a 24-16 victory over Sydney at Allianz.

Despite not adding to their 18 point lead after half-time, the Broncos kept the Roosters at bay for the majority of the second half. A late try to Roosters forward Vaikeli was merely nothing more than a consolation for a Roosters outfit that had been thoroughly outplayed.

Hipgrave- 223m, 33 tackles, and 7 tackle busts while Lavea 171m, 29 tackles and 6 tackle busts.
