BRONCOS pivot Scott Prince faces a battle to retain the No.6 jumper with utility Ben Hunt eyeing a permanent future in the halves after agreeing to terms on a new two-year deal.

In a boost for injury-hit Brisbane ahead of Friday night's derby clash against the Titans, The Courier-Mail can reveal Hunt has rejected interest from NRL suitors and will remain at Red Hill until the end of 2015.

Very happy we've retained him, I was worried for awhile that he may be gone but glad to see he's been retained.
That being said, with rumors of Wallace leaving it may have influenced his decision to re-sign, or it's more likely that Prince will retire by seasons end and Griffin told him he would have a spot in the halves next year.
