Broncos Press Release said:
THE WOW Brisbane Broncos have today wished current assistant coach Paul Green the best of luck
as he moves into his first head coaching role with Queensland Cup entity Wynnum Manly.
The Wynnum Manly board announced this morning that Green would take on the coaching job with
the Seagulls for the 2010 season.
Green played first grade for the Broncos and has been part of the coaching system at the club since
he began as a development officer at Easts Carina in 2004.
Broncos’ chief executive Bruno Cullen said today that at the close of his 2009 season commitments
Green would leave his current role on great terms.
“Paul has discussed this move with me and I agreed with his assessment that to further his coaching
career and to achieve his ultimate goal of coaching at the top level in the NRL, this was the right
move for him,” said Cullen.
“Joining one of the Broncos’ affiliate clubs gives him continued contact and exposure to everything
we do here in coaching and development, and that is a continued benefit for all concerned.
“Paul has taken on a new and demanding challenge that will do a lot for his long term development,
and we wish him well in the new role.
“While he will still be associated with the Broncos, I take the opportunity to sincerely thank him on
behalf of all here at the club for the contribution he has made over the last five years.”

I'm not to upset that he is moving on... we have enough former halfbacks on our coaching staff... i would love to see Webcke back to take his place, i think we need a repected forwards coach to help our pack, and there is now forward more respected than Shane Webcke

Why would Kevvie come back from a head coaching role?

I didn't even realise Green was still on our coaching staff

I mentioned in the U20 thread, but I believe the man to take Green's spot will be current Under 20 coach Anthony Griffin. And with us placing a lot of faith in our current Under 20's it's probably a wise move.
