Players can give great individual efforts but still be toxic to the actual team environment, do you weigh up the positive they bring here and there to the negativity they spread around them? With their absence I saw the younger forwards given an opportunity to impress and they did, Haas you could argue even showed the class he showed from 2019 that he hadn't shown for quite a while.

It is a bit, especially Lodge who I thought would be a good long term Captain, both on way too much money though so the fact they have both been playing well can help us recoup the wages to spend on areas we need to work on more.

Interestingly Haas has only been motm in 1 win so far this year... he was probably in the top 3 for most, but it seems he doesn't typically get considered as player of the game during a win
