That was a struggle picking a player. Should be a donkey vote! Maybe Buck? But 2020 wooden spooners had the Storm in an identity crisis for 25 glorious minutes. They were not sure if they were a boy, girl, transgender, pre-op, or just an it...Storm are very gettable. Message to the battle harden teams.

Aside from one good tackle, same thing could be said as every other week: was our captain even on the field?

Payne Haas ... that is all
Yeah 3 points to Haas. I honestly can't give a point to anyone else, I've looked over the team sheet twice and I just can't.

Another observation: Carrigan has fallen off a cliff too, the bloke needs a spell / stint in ISC.

Lodge pretty easily our best, IMO. Haas needs to fix the defensive lapses.

Dally M style for me would be

3 - Lodge
2 - Haas
1 - Turpin

Turps gets one for playing 80 minutes and topping the tackle count with 54. Coates gets one for outrunning Addo Carr. And Dearden gets one for his defence more than his attack. None with any great enthusiasm.

Honestly none of them except Herbie deserve even a mention.

Turpin is punching so far above his weight playing 80 and deserves a pat on the back, but the fact he has to do it every week is down to bad recruitment and bad coaching.
