There is going to be alot of news of players signing elsewhere, and instead of making a new thread everytime figured i would just start this one.

Cory Paterson signs with the Cowboys effective from next Tuesday.

The 23-year-old, who has played 77 NRL games, will link up with the Cowboys from next Tuesday to bolster the club’s forward depth.

There has speculation for weeks that Paterson was on the outer at Newcastle Knights, starting from when Wayne Bennett signed to coach in 2012.

Cowboys General Manager Peter Parr said the club was pleased to have acquired Paterson, who represented the Indigenous All Stars in 2010.

Cowboys have a bloody good roster at the moment, if they get Tate back in some kind of form they will be tough to beat. ABout time they recruited well

Cowboys are flying under the radar this year. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that come finals they maybe the team to give everyone a bit of a shake up.
