I hope there isn't already one of these. I haven't seen it. But as the title says, who would you like us to sign in the future? Or at least attempt too sign. Instead of spending huge money on Smith I'd prefer we chase DCE, Isaac Luke or James Segeyaro and Dylan Napa. If that were the case I'd imagine we'd lose Hunt, McCullough and maybe Ben Hannant. I'd love to have Fifita at the Broncos but I doubt it would happen. I wouldn't mind having a fit Jacob Loko as well. Maybe to replace Hodges eventually and I think he said he was a Broncos fan when he was younger. Anyway, what about you guys?

I think DCE is a must personally. Dylan Nappa would be nice. Tho i personally think we would benefit a great deal from signing Cam Smith and really hope it happens. I could deal with Hook if we had a leader like smith (shit that agenda is coming out again).

DCE outstanding player and would solve our halves issue in a heartbeat

In the future..

Daly Cherry-Evans
Cameron Smith
Dylan Napa

Would all be on my hit list.

Jason Taumalolo. We don't have much room for another second-rower right now, but all of ours seem to be the high workrate type. None of our second rowers, well arguably none of our entire squad, run as hard as this kid. He's fallen down the pecking order at the Cowboys and a new club, especially one as disciplined as the Broncos, would do him good.

If Hurrell could develop a defensive game, he'd be a fantastic pickup too. I doubt he'd leave the Warriors though.

6. Milford
7. DCE
9. Smith

It is a salary caps worst nightmare, but considering the rest of our squad of young guys have everything to prove in regards to their price tags, if 2014 is a stinker, I would make the most of it if I were the club.

Make a couple of poor performers take a pay cut, cut Thaiday loose if his form fails to improve, tell Hodgo to hang up the boots if he majorly injures himself again and focus everything on those two.

Smith and DCE are the biggest 2. Would dramatically improve areas we lack in (hooker/half, organisation and leadership (future leadership for DCE).

For a value buy, I reckon Tim Lafai would have a Dean Whare-like rise in FG with extended opportunities in the centres.

Smith is the big ofcourse but after that: DCE, moga, napa, dave Taylor, gagai

DCE

Other than that, surround the team with the right staff and there IS talent there. Smith would be great of course, but if I had to choose only 1, it's DCE.

I would have preferred dce to Milford and now don't know if he would be the most essential place to recruit (depends on what hunt does). I still have hope for macca but he only has a small window to prove we don't need smith in my opinion. Dave Taylor seems to have really turned a corner when the titans needed him to we also lack that real... Impact. Depending on how our young back develops we might need to replace a real quality centre. I would also like a real impact frf, hala could become that. The burgess boys would never leave and i doubt fifita would. Wait for the next big thing i guess. Korbin sims is already a gun at rep level and challenged the defence of England. I want him.

I like the post but do not want any of the Burgesses anywhere near our great club.

I'd be going for: 1. DCE, 2. Nappa, 3. Gagai, 4. Taylor and then I think we're set.

Don't want Taylor, he will never lose his pea heart. DCE, Smith, Gagai, RTS would be players I'd like to see in our colours.
Napa needs to prove a bit more before he deserves all the hype...

So then in 2-3 years time we're looking at:

1. Barba, 2. JYY/Copley, 3. Reed, 4. Gagai, 5. Vidot, 6. Hunt/Milford, 7. DCE (c), 8. Kennedy, 9. McCullough, 10. Taylor, 11. Oates, 12. Gillett, 13. McGuire, 14. Milford/??, 15. Hala, 16. Napa, 17. Glenn

Thats a team I could live with!!

Safe to say I think we'd be over the cap with that team, especially if all the young guys keep developing, they'll want more money.

Just check out the rumour threads.

Coming out of 2013, I think our top 3 deficiencies were:

1. Lack of a genuine playmaker
2. Lack of size of the bench
3. Lack of speed in our three quarter line of second-rowers

I think Kennedy will, if pre-season training efforts count for anything, be huge. No more Dunamis Lui first half fade outs.

We've signed Milford, who will hopefully not plateu or be destroyed by Stuart in 2014.

This would say to me that we need to look at the outside backs. Or pray that JYY suddenly smashes it in the trials
