2nd half we broke them open. He utterly ballsed it with their line open. Didn't have a clue what to do. From memory the commentators said he over cooked it. Which is a nice way of saying he panicked and stuffed it.

With any luck he'll turn it around and get back to the great form he has shown and I'll look silly. If that's what it takes ill wear it trust me..
You’re not thinking of Arthars on that play are you?

I do think it’s fair to say that for the most part the broncos attack has been clunky. The individual brilliance gets them access the line but the structure and composure is not there. They seem to want to score off every play rather than setting a foundation.

That being said; our defence has been resilient and we are keeping teams to 14.5 points per week. If we are able to maintain those sort of numbers then like we saw this round, it doesn’t take a well polished attack to outscore that. Which means we should win more than we lose while waiting for our attack to click.

Once the attack does start to gel and they are willing to play smart, patient footy in attack AND they keep up the defensive stats then they will be a very hard team to beat.

Yea from comments in the preseason, it sounds like our focus has been all on defence, defence, and defence. Attack will sort itself out as the year goes on.

One thing that has been extremely evident over the last few years is Matty Johns' hatred towards the Broncos..
I legit flicked over to the Matty Johns Sunday show and they went over our game. Not a single word was ushered from Matty about the Broncos, it was soely about how courageous the Dolphins were and their injury toll. They almost won the game, praised Milford, spoke about SOS and Niu, but not one word ushered about anyone from the Broncos.
He didn't mind having a dig over the last few years though, when we weren't travelling so well.

These guys all played during an era where the broncos thrashed them from pillar to post. Their hatred for the Broncos runs deep for them. Kind of like how we view the storm after years of beltings

You really thought we looked great last two games? Are you serious? Go rewatch the first 70 minutes of the last two matches and tell me how good you think we looked.
We are not coming from back to back premierships here, the dragons game was pretty well, it's easy to get hang up about it was the dragons but they turned up, a team that has plenty of Ex broncos in it would definitely turn up against us at Suncorp.

The simple fact was what happened at the end wasn't a fluke it was a planned strategy that kev made, he didn't do that with Haas in the 2 games prior, we then followed a similar path against the Dolphins, but that game had way more Fatigue as the ball was in play alot longer, errors will just come from that, had we managed to complete sets better when Haas and Flegs came on at the end I think we would of Piled on the points though.

I don't think Matty has a hatred for the Broncos.

He's regularly talked up the Broncos and has said that Broncos have that swagger back that we had in the 90's.

Yet there has been basically nothing made of the 4/4 undefeated start to the year.
I get that we weren’t at our best on the weekend, but we still won the game. That in itself is something we haven’t been able to do in the past years.
The media loved to shit on us last year when we bowed out of the 8, but don’t like dish out the positive press.

We're the only team undefeated. That's news.

You can bet if we go down to the Tigpies this weekend (the only team yet to taste a win this year...) the media will be bleating about how awful we were (and we would have to be truly horrific to lose to that rabble again).

I don’t really care too much that they aren’t talking about us tbh. What does shit me though is as soon as we lose a game there will be pages and pages, segments and segments on it. Everything will be dragged back up again like the decline at the end of last season, that fucking podcast etc. etc. It will ‘whispers of unrest’, any player that hasn’t re-signed you will have Buzz and all the other dickheads saying “awwww Kenty I’m hearing that they have told their managers to look around, it’s a big story Braith I’m telling you”

That is what shits me, the media are just *****.
