Hi everyone,
In light of the ASADA and ACC investigations I think we should clarify what is and isn't acceptable when it comes to posting rumours. We have had some legal issues in the past so we will be erring on the side of caution.
If there is anything that may have criminal implications including but not limited to: drug use, match fixing or links to organised crime then the following will apply.
No players or staff should be named unless there is a concrete source backing it up (ie courier mail article, press release, etc). Clearly implying which player you mean is also off limits (ie long time representative player from Cronulla Sharks, recent recruit by the Panthers or anything along those lines).
Obviously this doesn't apply to stuff like player movements or anything that doesn't have legal implications unless it's just outright slander. So if you've heard that Corey Norman is going to the Storm after spurning the Eels and the Broncos after Craig Bellamy promised him a Rainbow Paddlepop after every game then that's fine. Crazy, but fine.
