3. Parker - Was once again immense for us tonight. He hunted for the ball off broken field play and got a try out of it, he was his typical best when it comes to offloads and his work rate was exceptional. He is truly in the prime of his career and in a lot of ways, even showed up Matt Scott.
2. Milford - Came alive for the first time in our colours. He played slick, bold footy when he had it in his hands and his involvement was incremental in a few of our tries.
1. Kahu - Responded to his critics with a sledgehammer and put on a fullback performance that would make Karmichael smoke another snow cone to mask the sadness. I hope he continues improving
Dishonorable mention has to go to Reed. It is becoming increasingly obvious that he has no place left in this team.
3. Kahu - starting to hit is straps after several season ending knee injuries. Showing why myself and others ratehim highly.
2. Milford - well looks like i'm eating some humble pie (and it is very tasty, i might add) great job. I still think he is better at fullback, but he certainly impressed me tonight. for the make up of the team going forward he may be the right choice at 6, if he keeps playing like he did tonight (and improving in a few things) great job.
1. Parker - typical Parker.
Dishonorable mention: Reed - can we sack him yet. Surely when Copley is fit he has to take Reeds spot
3. Parker, tireless in A and D, good to see him letting the offloads go. Losing the captaincy doesn't seem to have affected him, still leading from the front.
2. Kahu. Made a couple of errors but puts forth some great efforts in attack and defense. I've doubted his ability to cement a place in the team, but he's certainly winning me over. Incredibly courageous in his kick returns and tackling. You can learn skills but you can't teach heart.
1. Milford. Looks like he's starting to get more comfortable out there. Good to see him putting in some nice passes, a kick in two, and taking on the line with his running game. Plenty to work on yet, but he's starting to settle in. Hopefully he takes some confidence from that and backs himself a little more.
Honourable mentions to Wallace and Blair. If they can bring that week in, week out, we'll be much the better for it.
1. Parker - It was typical Parker, 100% effort. What I liked the most was his work in attack. He was looking to keep the play alive, get some second phase play going and his support play was quite good.
2. Kahu - What a game from him. Those two try assists, pure class. He was dangerous in attack and he was good defensively. His willingness to put his body on the line was good to see.
3. Milford - I was tossing up between Hunt and Milford, but I opted for Milford. His improvement this week was good to see. He was dangerous in attack and a constant handful for the defense and I thought he was good defensively also despite his missed tackle on Morgan..
