Which promising halves have caught your attention?

Shaun Johnson
Jack Wighton
Anthony Milford
Matt McGahan
Ben Hampton
Luke Keary
Carlos Tuimavave
Curtis Sironen

In a few years, Luke Brooks could be a star too.

Canberra and Souths seem to have the most depth in halves so maybe they are the best place to look first

Oi Dave, any opinions on Ethan Roberts?

Sezer and Kelly going alright at the Titans as well.

Tyrone Roberts had a blinder tonight for the Knights.....

Yep, Tyrone is a decent shout. Mind you, it was on the back of a great team performance against a listless Cowboys one but there's definitely talent there. Wouldn't be against throwing a lazy 200-300K at him.

I doubt Sezer and Kelly are going to leave the Titans anytime soon but they've been impressed in the opening rounds. Kelly has really proven me wrong thus far.

I don't think Tyrone is going to leave the Knights long as Wayne is there. He has a real nice show and go. He did it against the Raiders last season as well

Be a shame if the knights run Gidley instead of this bloke.....

Got a young half at the club with nearly 70 first grade games to his credit, has got genuine vision and a sneaky short kicking game (albeit a bit rusty for lack of opportunity), solid defense and as we speak is being scouted by a few clubs who rate him in a similar vain to those promising young halves being talked up in this thread. Something shiny and new is not always better, Thurston didn't start to crack it at the dogs until he was around Hunts age. Scouted by the great man, Hunt was the prodigy long before Norman but has not been afforded the same opportunity in the halves. Probably because he looks like a footy player and not a track athlete. Early out of 20's he had his issues with confidence and being very passive and problems with his defense. He is now imo ready and the fact he is still at the club, happy to play out of position and off the bench and without sulking or giving the coach ultimatums demonstrates a maturity and character that already fits in with the clubs culture.

I'm a fan of SJ, would love to get him.

This guy, to me, has the most potential of all the young crop out there.

Amazing speed, great kicking game, size (he's pretty big) and a pretty cool head make him a prize for any side that can nab him.
