I think there has been a bad culture change at the broncos which has crept in since the bennett and cullen era ended. Its time for gee, griffin, richards and a few of the other yes men protected species to make way for some fresh blood. The broncos system is a mess, the joint is full of school teachers wanting to be recruitment guru's and coaches.

Umm ..... ok :001_unsure:

You do have facts to back up your argument don't you ?

They'll be gone after the Broncos finish in the bottom four this year. Stop worrying.

apart from a 15 min lapse in rnd 1, we have only allow two tries in 225 minutes of football. if it was culture the defense would not continue to turn up.

poor coaching in our attacking structures is what prevented us from winning on saturday.

i hope your right, hopefully the whole place gets cleaned out.

the "protected species" that we should be worried about at the broncos are players like Wallace, Thaiday, Hannant, etc. they seem to be able to dish up absolute cr@p week in week out, year in year out, and we just keep rewarding them with contracts and bigger $.

i understand what your saying but the dragons formline looks disgraceful and the chooks havent done much either. The storm on friday night should be interesting. I would like to see baptiste get a game and show them what a good dummy half runner and option looks like.

Don't belittle new posters. Willy, like all of us, is frustrated with the start to the season and the seeming lack of change over the offseason.

I tend to agree with noisetheory though, that if it was truly a culture issue, the defence is where we'd fall apart. For the most part, that's been great. The scrambling (Hodges on Soward and Morris, Maranta on Jennings) shows just how committed everyone is.

The problem is simply the form of the halves, and the attacking structure. Which is more to blame is hard to tell, because if the halves were in form maybe the structure would work, or maybe if the structure was right, the halves would show form?

Griffin's going to have to make some change soon, because if form doesn't improve, then either Wallace and/or Prince need to be replaced, or the plan has to change.

the facts are there for all to see. its obvious you dont understand the game so I will forgive your inept ability to see the problem with the current bronco group as a whole.
See jarro, he told you he had the facts lol

i garee about the halves, however i think the forward pack lacks real size and punch which then has the flow on effect. The game plan agaisnt manly worked well in the first half ( side to side and running the manly pack around) however once the eagle's started to power through the middle this highlighted a clear weakness. Mcguire needs help to combat this if the bronco's want to stop the power game of big packs like the cowboys, rabbits, eagles, titans etc.

I would like to think that maybe a big unit like oates from the 20's or even a power runner like molo isnt far away, im also concerned about alex glenn's ability to move away or lack there of from his corridor and add some power in the middle. He seems to get stuck on the left side far to much and doesnt really go looking for the tough stuff enough.

First of all, welcome to BHQ Willy.

I understand we Broncos fans are all frustrated with the team/structure/direction, etc... It still doesn't warrant the "you don't understand the game" line, this goes for the sarcasm that led to your reply as well of course!

Let's focus on discussing ideas and opinions instead of their authors, thanks! :thumbup1:

Unless something drastically changes over the next month Griffin could be gone IMO.

Welcome to the forum bro. Is this Willy from West End?

I hope it's not Willy from West End. Let's hope it's Willy from the chocolate factory.

Jesus, why does everyone say "you obviously don't understand the game"? When did unis start offering Diplomas in Rugby League, I'd like to know where everyone got their superior knowledge from?
