I think they will both be ok. O'Neill is Nielsen, solid and while he won't do anything special, he won't let anyone down either. We don't need points on the right anyway, just send it left all night. As for Gagai, I'm not worried about the kid. He was great last year and will be brilliant next Wednesday as he has absolutely nothing else to play for this season.

Exactly why are O'Neill and Feldt (probably would be there if it wasn't for his performance on Friday) rated so highly by some? I just see them as solid first graders but some people seem to rate them as stars.

Feel a bit sorry for Gavin Cooper. If there is anyone who deserves a Maroon jersey it's him. Such a great underrated player who wouldn't let the team down. He would be a far better selection then Guerra.

Because due to injuries, retirement (Hodges) and over the top banning, we have jack all available in the backs. At least O'Neill-Feldt have a club combination that doesn't leak points. Plus Feldt provides a second forwardesque kick returner akin to Oates (who is obviously much better though). Unlike you guys, we have very little available and Gagai's defensive issues are well documented.

Incidentally, why are they naming the team tonight after all the club teams are in anyway? It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who that leaves out?

Agree. Chambers, Gagai, Boyd all had doubters before their debuts and they all played well. Even Dane Neilson held his own. O'Neill should go alright.

Boyd and Gagai both made their debuts in a game where QLD absolutely dominated. They weren't put under any pressure at all. Well Gagai was put under pressure once and he knocked on. After that, barely heard of him because NSW just weren't getting any chances in our 20.

Boyd went on to have a good career, but he is also a better overall player than Gagai.

Gagai is still unknown. I'm not sure how he will handle being under the pump in the Origin arena and I don't have high hopes.

Absolutely! Gillett's defense alone should have him there but the fact he is good in attack as well is just a bonus. He is just smashing everything in defense this year and will intimidate the Blues on the right edge.
