I can only comment on my experience over the past few years and it's this - Fox Sports telecast is a more enjoyable call than the 9 call. Regardless of who calls it on Fox. Why? Because on 9 you get Rabs arguing with Gould. **** that gets on my nerves. I want to hear professional league callers give me astute opinions of the match, not 2 ****ing schoolgirls arguing over every second comment.

It's not enough that i have to hear that crap during the day?

He can call a good game of footy on the radio. Yet, seeing his performance with the Rugby it didn't work for tv. So I think it will be interesting to see how it works for Rugby League.

I also wonder how he will go with Vossy and the feud they have had over the past year.

This could be a good thing... when Ch Nien lose the TV rights, whatever ch picks it up will have a Sterlo Fatty Vossy straight up. Rabs and Hasbeenly can stay with the sinking ship that is Nien.

I predict if Nine still have the rights when Rabs hangs up the mike, Andrew Voss will take over as lead commentator.

I could be wrong or things may have changed since he said it but I do seem to remember Rabs saying that the Olympics will be his swansong, which opens up the fact that Vossy will probably be the head commentator for games while Rabs is away anyway.

Hadley is very ordinary and almost incapable of being wrong(or at least admitting he was).....Ray Warren is poor because he has been crying like a big sook for the last few years whenever anyone has not recognized his stature or been a little irreverent towards him. His whinges, like....you blokes keep hammering me for every mistake..or..my God you blokes have started early, I've only just sat down etc etc.. make me think he should have given it away years ago. There are /were a few good men calling footy on the ABC over the last few years with Boland being okay...like that approach better than Bloated Gould chortling,Rabs crying and Vautin prattling.

Be nice if Gould would just present his thoughts later on in a game. Last night he said, after 5 mins, that Brisbane had not brought their wet Weather Game with them, he expressed surprise that the Broncs apparently did not know it was raining...5 mins in. Twat

Gould was woeful last night.

He spent an entire minute complaining about Hodges pushing over the marker and when Rabs was trying to change the topic he'd just keep whinging and whinging.

He can provide some really interesting analysis at times Gould but his agendas prevent me from liking him.

So a guy travels all around the Country because Rabs can't fly, puts stupid amounts of hours into the game, and the channel. Hosts shows on Sundays, fills in wherever possible...and 15 years later gets boned for Hadley.

I like Hadley's game calling, but then I've been listening to him on radio for years. He hasn't changed his style at all for TV, which is probably the problem. On radio the commentary has to be constant and very detailed because obviously the listeners can't see the action. He has the same approach to TV commentary.

I'm not so concerned with the amount of talking he does. But He was using the full positional names for some of the game, some that I've never heard.

It was more his voice, and just how fast he talks.
