He is a very big radio personality in Sydney. Hosts a talk back show on 2GB after Alan Jones. But yes he used to do the racers and then went into doing the footy and other sporting fixtures on the radio.

He said on his show on Monday that he understands he didn't do as good a job as he was expecting and because he has been doing it for so long on the radio, he was just in autopilot. He realises that he needed to cut back on talking so much as he doesn't need to create the image for the tv audience like he does for the radio audience. He said it is a work in progress and he will get better.

I think he will get better. However how long will Nine wait for him to improve?

The potential is definitely there, if he turned it down a tad he'd make an extremely good tv commentator.
