You think we won't go back into some form of lockdown? The virus is not going anywhere. We need to learn to live with it not hide from it. Only the truly unwell should be sent to the hospital, everyone else can stay at home with their chicken soup like we have always done with different versions of the flu. The human body is not made from paper.
Sorry mate, I am on the other side of this one as well. It is not just a flu and cannot in my view be treated as such because of how virulent it is if steps are not taken to address the risk of transmission.

I'll give you a little heads up.

Obama is a protected species.

It is proven, that he used the powers of the IRS to target his political enemies.

It is proven that he sent billions of dollars to the enemy of the US - Iran - in the Iran deal.

Remember ISIS? Well Obama dropped more bombs in the Middle East than any other president, but couldn't destroy ISIS. Trump destroyed them within two years.

Obama sold out the interests of American to foreign powers - obliterating the American middle class, which lead to the election of Donald Trump whose main promise was "American first". Trump won in 2016 because of the "rust belt" - the states in America which rely on manufacturing for their jobs.

I don't know where you got this incredible table ... but I suspect from the lawless, fact-free Matrix in which you live a life of delusion.
Utter BS. Reference?

we may, we may not ... but i'll tell you it is far easier to deal with a few isolated clusters here and there (at least hospitals can cope with that) than 200k every day.

Trump missed his chance to control this without too much damage to the economy.

You can't provide adequate health care without a functioning economy. You don't have to be an economist or a medical practitioner to get that concept. They are of equal value because one relies on the other. The vast majority of people are safe from covid, even the questionable statistics suggest that. Its quite simple you either protect or even isolate the vulnerable, and let everyone else go about their lives.
Tell that to the Swedish, who fucked their country up and overwhelmed their health care systems hoping for herd immunity to kick in while protecting the vulnerable, and now have 10x the deaths per capita of their neighbours, had their Prime Minister humbly apologise for royally fucking up, and even their king had to tell his subjects to "hold on tight" after they were forced to reverse their strategy when cases and hospitalizations exploded.

The only way to slow a pandemic down, is social distancing, with all the restrictions it brings about, and yes, economic impact. You have to protect your health systems from large peaks of infections, or they will collapse and hinder treatment not only of the pandemic disease itself, but all other diseases and conditions. The costs of which are not only measured in all the additional lives lost, as they end up being a far higher burden on the economy than any social distancing measures.

Is this your best? I've noticed your usual contribution is a laughing emoticon. I give you credit for adding words.
I've already replied before and given you actual facts, which you just choose to ignore because they don't suit your cult views. I'm not planning on maintaining the circle jerk going with you, so I laugh at the idiocy you spout. I'm just not sure which of these you look more like, this:

I dont think it was ever in his plan to lockdown. He still does not want to.

We really won't know for some time yet what the best option is. At the moment almost everybody is opting for lockdowns. Personally I just dont think we should. But we will have to wait and see how that effects our economy, our society, and even other poorer nations around the world that rely on wealthier nations for aid.

For such a free thinker is there one thing that Trump does/has done that you don’t agree with?

that's the point ... it was never in his plans, but should have been.

if he had have acted quickly, the lock down required would have been much shorter, and they would be well on their way to recovery. instead, he went on rants about crazy cures while sticking his head in the sand ... a result 250k dead Americans and rising.

and your crazy if you don't think 10 million + sick people over the last 11 months, hasn't hurt productivity and therefore the economy ... not to mention the 20 million people that loist their jobs

6,681 deaths from just over 10 million people. God knows how many of them were from co-morbility.

Well yeah, the vast majority except the near 300,000 Americans who lost their lives. No they're not of equal value, health always comes before money.
It's a pretty simple concept, you can rebuild an economy you can't revive dead people. I put a higher price on life than you do, evidently.

The hypocrisy of a party that is anti-abortion because every life matters, except when the life costs money, so forget about lockdowns. **** the elderly. **** the vulnerable, unless they're unborn infants because that would suit our political motive.

Trump is a shit **** of a human.

You could lose far more with money and lack of resources to feed people. Their party is pro-freedom, you know the choice to assess your own risks as an individual rather than have someone dictate them to you. If your that scared of a virus that kills a small fraction of people under the age of 70 than stay at home.

Pro freedom unless it's a woman? How does that logic line up. If you can't see the hypocrisy you're covering your eyes.

You disgust me. Don’t come on here preaching your religion and ideology and then flippantly dismiss and excuse abandoning real people to die in the hope that it will add a percentage point or two to the GDP. What sort of a human being are you let alone a Christian.

Cmon man i have to weigh into that topic now too. That will always be a grey area, not sure there is any right answer. I lean more to the side of pro life but I wouldnt say my opinion is overly strong.

Slightly more severe than a flu yes but still a flu.

Just slightly more severe, like 272,269 American dead from COVID19 this year so far, (which is not a flu virus at all).

As for the (real) flu, 22,000 deaths so far

Just ever so slightly more severe.

Seriously, the dis- and misinformation in this thread is staggering

"Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the 2019-2020 flu season involved two waves of activity and moderate severity with 38 million people contracting influenza, 18 million visiting a health care provider, 400,000 being hospitalized and 22,000 sadly passing away. That is a significantly lower total than the 100,000 deaths tweeted by President Trump (yes, yet another lie). Even the deadliest flu season of the last decade, 2017-2018, had a lower death toll with an estimated 61,000 people dying."

https://www.statista.com/chart/23129/estimated-number-of-deaths-due-to-influenza-in-the-us/

(Sorry, for the commie socialist fascist black transgender feminist atheist Chinese Iranian Dominion Chavez's ghost fraud data site - bloody CDCP)
