Very rusty. Defence was awesome. I'm the past that would have chopped us up, lost count of how many times Gillett was clinging to a bootlace.

Gillett and especially Oates standouts. Milf had a decent game. Kahu looked good before getting injured

Eden ended up with a poor game. Parker still can't kick for shit. Hunt having some issues all round. Hopefully it's a one-off but his last-tackle kicks were terrible and he tried too hard to get at loose balls and knocked on.

Overall an OK game. If they had their halves, we could've been in trouble. Onto next week

Scrappy and error riddled but a lot of positives as well. Decent start for sure. Oates is awesome. He will probably play for Qld soon and looks a future kangaroo on the wing. You would have to be nuts to move him into the pack and Wayne is not that stupid.

Milf looks far more composed than Hunt. Hopefully Ben can get back into it in the next few rounds.

Boyd - Workmanlike, certainly safe as houses out the back. 7
Eden - Played he was in the super league. 3
Kahu - Looked great in the short time he was out there, shame about the injury. 5
Roberts - Needs to do more but a couple of nice touches. 6
Oates - Just an absolute barnstormer. 9
Milford - Good thing he is super consistent now, always looked dangerous. 8
Hunt - Still in the offseason? 3
McGuire - Great return, like he never left. 7
McCullough - Great 40/20, defended like always. 8
Blair - Adds so much to this team now, solid all round. 7
Glenn - Had to adapt to centre and did pretty well. 7
Gillett - Arguably best on ground, great game. 9
Parker - Some big runs and offloads but shocking kicking. 7

Wallace - Terrible amid solid. 4
Thaiday - Definitely added something when he came on. 7
Offa - He always looks urgent and he's a star in waiting. 7
Nikorima - Didn't have too much to do but looked dangerous as always. 6

Hard for me to split Matt and Corey. Oates made some immense carries out of our end and gave them headaches in attack all night. It would be very left field but if he ever scored the wing outside Inglis in Origin? Sweet Jesus...

Matt put his hand up with strong runs all night but his watertight defence gets him the nod. He was the linchpin that shut down Ma'u, Semi and Jennings. That was the end of them.

Honourable mention to Macca.

Good effort all around from the guys really, except for Eden. Not Hunt's best night but he'll warm to the task once his confidence returns.

Pretty scrappy second half but that's one in the bank and we're on the march. We'll tighten up from here.

Hope Kahu is ok.

Absolutely! I wanted Oates in last year, this year he is a sure thing in my mind for that vacant wing spot.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I felt like we injected Kodi a little early?

Fatigue wasn't quite significant enough for him to break the game open. Defence was on him like a rash.

Kahu being off may have forced our rotation a little though.

Good to see Milf keeping his field goal skills sharp. He has to be our go to guy, lord knows no one else is up to it.

He just did some noticeable stuff ups. I like Wallace and defend him as much as anyone but he was not so good tonight.
