Personally I'm looking forward to the final three games. Both Canberra and Melbourne are under-strength but there's still a healthy rivalry between both clubs. This is a line in the sand moment for the Raiders and if they win here they're back into finals contention, lose and we're looking at the start of a new era for that club. I still get this sneaking suspicion that Origin is going to knock Melbourne down a couple of pegs. I'm curious to see how Latrell Mitchell responds after his suspension. He has an opportunity to rejoin the NSW team and if he can help lead the Bunnies to victory against Penrith it would all but book his spot in the team. By my count Penrith have only faced three decent challenges (Storm, Canberra and Manly) where they had a few things go their way. If Souths can put them behind the 8-ball early I'm curious to see how they respond. There is still this feeling that it's too good to be true for Penrith and like Melbourne I expect Origin to disrupt them. Finally I'm curious to see how Manly stack up against Parramatta. I thought against Penrith they let the game get away from them too early and while they mounted something of a comeback it proved a bridge too far. This is an opportunity to make a statement on the eve of Origin, otherwise I could see things going pear shape for them quite quickly. Like in 2019 they're riding a wave right now and with Turbo having to be managed moving forward they'll need all the confidence they can get. The Eels just need to keep trucking along, they've done a great job so far of staying under the radar and they should have a fairly pleasant representative period by comparison.
