Lock is almost just another word for prop these days. Divide the field into 3, and you should have a back rower for each 1/3rd. He'll be fine.

This talk of "Parker possibly being fit" .. This isn't Corey Parker is it ? Isn't he just days out of hospital after having his leg sewn back onto his body ??!

It's just a flesh wound!

I doubt he will play. Not worth the risk at this stage in the season.

This. Corey's a tough bugger and I bet if you left it up to him he'd play. I hope the medical staff just tell him to chill out and take the week off.

I don't know, it's only a flesh wound, and the risk of infection has been taken away. It will be tightly wrapped up and protected, so the worst thing that could happen is for the wound to happen again...

The above opinion may or may not be related to the fact that I desperatly need Parker for all my fantasy teams! :shady:

What leg was the wound on? Maybe he should play, but cease goalkicking for the year. I can't think of anybody important who would disagree with that. :finger:

I still wonder if Inglis is in any doubt. I note that James Roberts isn't to be found in either the Bears or U20 line-ups. Don't recall him getting injured in NSW Cup last week, so maybe he's a chance of playing? They could also shift McQueen to the wing and bring someone else into the backrow too. Either way I am hoping GI sits it out and rests up for the Blews.

Isn't that just wishful thinking because you have Roberts in your SVRL team now?

That Roberts plays? To a big extent, sure, but it's still curious to me that he's not named in any of Souths' other teams and Inglis is in doubt.

And regardless of if I own Roberts or not, I still hope GI doesn't play, just so we can smash Souths as Inglis rests up to do likewise to the Blues.

In the team selection video Maguire was asked about Inglis and he said GI would be playing. Now whether that means he is just giving him till the last moment to prove his elbow won't be an issue. He said the medical team believe he was responding well to ice and wouldn't have any long term issues if he just played with it strapped.

No offence but the NRL is more important than SOO so I doubt they would sit him out unless the risks were too great.

Hannant will be a big loss .... he's been our best go-forward man for a while (in the forwards)

I'm glad Parker is back though .... the pack looks a lot more balanced with him there.

On the positive side, Hannant finally gets a break. He's been playing every game AND the rep games.

Hannant is a big loss. He had some huge plays in the first meeting that set the platform and saved the day for you guys to win it.

Parker coming in is just as dangerous but I hope Souths target him for a while to see how long that leg will hold up. Plenty of low tackles would be nice.

I always fear the returning player against us. There always seems to be a Bronco player that comes back from injury and rip ins and rips us a new one.

You've got me nervous with Taylor and Inglis putting in big performances.

They'd need to come in pairs otherwise Parker will get that offload away.

What's Hannant out with?
