Just happy to get the win. Happy we did it without Gillett or Parker, with them resting. I'd want to rest Oates and McGuire too sometime soon. McGuire would be manageable with Parker back, but Oates would be a lot tougher without Kahu and Maranta turding it up.

Some good signs, really excited to see us go right a lot more.

We've got the talent, we know that but attitude and effort have been lacking.

Tonight was step in the right direction, need to keep it up against the better outfits moving on.

Let's be honest, it was a sloppy win but very important to our run home. A big high five to Roberts for stepping it up at the right time of the year.

It's not the win we deserve, but the win we need right now.

I didn't like the fact they clocked off in the final 10, but I'm happy to get the 2 points.

Just glad to see Hunt getting his mojo back and starting to take the line on more and keep the defence guessing.

Milford was a fucking rock in defence. How many try savers did he come up with?

We bombed so many tries, but this game was just all about getting the win and building on that. We'll be better for it next week, hopefully.

Roberts played arguably his best game of the year.

I thought Oates needed a rest too but he was phenomenal tonight, don't mess with that kind of form!

Played a LOT better as a team, that's for sure. Oates, Boyd, Roberts, Milford and Hunt all played well. Some of the forwards impressed too, such as Arrow, Ofa and Blair.

Maranta was awful. Thaiday was Thaiday. That's about it.

Rabbits were awful.

We were comfortable enough to get the job done.

Hunt was better. Oates was good. Roberts was good. Maranta was awful.

Onto next week, we need to improve markedly.

Good win. Just the good confidence booster we needed going into the run home. I'm giving Hunt my 3 points. He guided the team to victory tonight. Running the ball like his old self AND making awesome general play kicks. And did I see a bit of him giving players around him the verbals at one stage? Directing the troops, why isn't he captain next year?

Milf had a.....weird night. Average as **** in attack but his defence against Burgess. What the ****, man. That was an ungodly effort, all things considered. It was also great to see Roberts finally cut loose and tear them to ribbons. The dude has the agility of a Briar Rabbit

If Thaiday was dropped, would anybody here notice? He just seems to do nothing these days.

The boys played like a team working hard to find some form. A few moments of brilliance by Roberts and Oates. Hunt and Milford getting much more involved. Some very good scramble defence. All in all, tonight was exactly what we needed.

I would have taken a win by 1 point. As everyone has said, the result is more important than the performance. That will give them some confidence and something to build on.
