Really wish the Broncos were playing on a different night because Souths v Manly is a potential GF match.

Going to go with Manly in a tight contest. I reckon there is something to these concerns surrounding Reynolds and they'll be realised tonight.

Amen, I hate watching the replay on Channel 9 after the Broncos game, and I really want to watch that game live.. why couldn't they do a 5:30 kick-off & a 7:30 kick-off on Friday night games?

I assume it's because of Nine News being too precious, but surely their ratings would go up if they did that..

5:30 would be terrible for crowds and wouldn't be great for ratings either. 6:30 could possibly be feasible but would still hurt both aspects I reckon.

Would rather they keep Friday to one game. Treat it like the premier game and move the other slot to Sunday.

Perhaps they show both games live at the same time, give the viewers a choice of what they want to watch.

One game on 9, the other on GEM.

I remember Fox Sports used to do that. Press the red button on the remote and you were given a choice of which live game you wanted to watch.

True, didn't really think about crowds. I do agree with the sentiment of having only 1 premier Friday night game though, obviously Nine wouldn't sacrifice one of their games over to Fox Sports, but I'd love to see 2 live games on Nine on Sunday, that'd be so much better.. Maybe a 2pm kick-off game and then a 4pm kick-off game... Meaning Fox Sports might have to move their live Sunday game to 6:30pm or 7:30pm on Sunday night.

It would mean every single game would be live on TV, and no game would have to be watched on replay.. One can dream.

I'm really I get 8 from 8 this week.

Not only will I win money, but I will take the lead by one in my tipping comp.

Well, I couldn't have been more wrong about the footy tonight.

The Bunnies put forward a powerful performance to outlast the Sea Eagles in what was said to be a quality display.

And the Broncos produced arguably their best performance of the season and piled the points on the Bulldogs.

May have to adopt the Costanza method for the rest of the weekend.

Replays finally started up on FoxSports.

Manly with their first opportunity on the Souths line cough it up on the last as Ballin loses it at dummy half.

Matai down 4 minutes into the match.

Looks like George Burgess got him in a chicken wing but the refs missed it.

Manly receive a penalty in the same set and Hiku scores an easy try down the right.

Matai is now off.

Wow, Reynolds actually sets a try up with his hands.

Well constructed try sees Turner cross with relative ease to put Souths infront.

Souths TRY

Auva'a

Basically a 12 point turn around here. Sea Eagles were one pass off from scoring but lost it and Tuqiri makes a big surge down the touchline before succumbing to the tackle. A simple shift left sees Auva'a get on the outside of his opposite and score a simple try.

Great passage right there.

GI accepts a great Sam Burgess offload and tears down the field only to get taken in a great cover tackle by Stewart.

Auva'a wastes the opportunity by trying to barge over on the last.

It's pretty much a Souths clinic, Pete.

I haven't actually been that impressed with Souths that far.

They've defended well and that GI break was fantastic but they've looked a little lost at times too.

I reckon losing Matai threw a big wrench in Manly's gameplan.

Poor pass from DCE spoiled a golden opportunity from Manly.

Loved that play from Lyon off the scrum. Read the situation well and bought Manly a good opportunity but Souths regrouped nicely.

12-4 Souths

44 gone.

*Covering this game is seriously like coming home late and finding some delicious leftover you wish you had fresh. Not ideal, but it'll do*
