Melbourne vs. Canberra is the game I'm most looking forward to. Canberra have to shake off the pretenders tag, while Melbourne won't want to show any sign of weakness leading into the finals.

I'm curious to see how Melbourne handle this game. On Sunday they came up against an understrength South Sydney pack who put up very little resistance in the opening exchanges. Before anyone knew it, it was 12-0 and despite Souths levelling the scores, Melbourne were still making easy in-roads through out the afternoon. The Raiders pack is more formidable than Souths, so I'm curious to see if they can turn on the heat and how Melbourne handle it. From what I've seen, if you can out-bully the Storm forwards, they start to give into their frustration and stray from their gameplan.

I'm leaning towards Melbourne in Melbourne, but would love to see Canberra spring an upset and open up the finals. While I don't mind the prospect of Melbourne vs. Sydney II, I'm always happy to see more genuine contenders. There's nothing worse than a 2014 mishap where the grand final itself is a walk-over.

I thought you'd be more looking forward to Us v Panthers as I think this is the waershed game of Boyd's career. It will determine how our season ends.

Or have you already given up on the Broncs?

After the performances against the Storm and the Cowboys, I think I'm dreading the game more than anything.

I think he'll probably accept it now. Even Hoffman accepted it. They tried to go somewhere else to prove their coach and critics wrong, and it didn't work out. Hoffman now seems OK to stay on the wing.
Kodi should have tried to go to the Knights, I think that would have suited his Broncos style the most.

“All these dangerous tackles from the Storm are just tackles gone wrong” - Ben Ikin

The error from Koroisau has invited Wests back into this. Manly were having the better of play before Api had a lapse in concentration.

Great play from Wests to put Nofoaluma over.

The scary thing is Gosiewski could have had a hat-trick.

I don't know why Manly went away from Cherry-Evans after the first Gosiewski try. It seems like Walker was over-calling him and Cherry-Evans was only coming into the play to bail the Sea Eagles out. They finally give him decent ball and he puts Gosiewski through a hole, easy as you'd like.

Some of the ball playing for the tries in this game was quite brilliant. The broncos can only dream of handling like this

How was that Trbojevic play the ball all good?

There really wasn't anything in this game that made me think that Manly have another level in them for the finals. I can't see them troubling Storm.

They will probably put up a fight but they will just be making up the numbers.

I don't see a scenario where it's not a Storm vs Roosters replay. Rabbitohs are shot.

Manly are definitely a smokey if DCE and TTurbo can fire. Their starting pack has the potential to beat Melbourne and possibly the Roosters too. Fonua-Blake is especially in absolutely sublime form this season, probably the front runner for front rower of the year.

Behind Haas if we’re serious, which the Dally Ms never are.

Yeah, Haas has better numbers, but I feel they'll just settle for giving him Rookie of the Year. I don't think you often see someone win ROTY + a positional award at the same time.

Also Broncos forwards numbers are a bit inflated with our clueless attack, but I dunno how much difference it makes though.
