I'm looking forward to watching Jeremaih Nanai for the Cowboys.

Coming through the junior system, he was one of the most promising edge forwards in the game and knew his way to the try line. The Cowboys fast-tracked his development right away and had him playing QCup which he seemed to be handling quite well.

Along with the debut of Griffin Neame, I still think there's a lot to like about the Cowboys moving forward. It won't be obvious right away but by mid-2022 I can see them turn a corner.

Also interesting to note Laika Moceidreke. I missed the news earlier but he was a stand-out winger in the Jersey Flegg competition earlier in the season.

Payten has out-big-brained himself with that team.

Dude’s a hack who thinks he’s the smartest person in the game.

Remind you of anyone?

What changes would you have made?

That Nicholas Hynes sounds like he might be quite the raconteur.

feel as tho this is gonna be a tight one, raiders playing this as a semi final
I'd love to see the Raiders demolish the Storm.
I'd love to see anyone demolish the Storm to be honest.

Any one else notice wighton getting run off the ball by felise kaufusi? Was it even checked?

Canberra have toiled hard, but errors at critical times and the class of Melbourne have been too much.

At 20-4 it effectively feels like game over. Canberra did pull off a remarkable comeback in 2019 where they came back from 18-4 but I can't see them pulling it off tonight.

I still think there's been some good signs for the Raiders. Smith-Shields continues to impress and just has a lot of class about him. His position is centre and I think he could have a long career there for the Raiders if he continues to put in the work.

Melbourne continue to just roll on. I've been impressed with Ieremia on the wing, he came up through their Victorian Thunderbolts system as a fullback and appeared to be in the mould of a Nicho Hynes. He's made up for a lack of size with his skill and decision making.

What a bullshit call that they get to keep their incorrect challenge for a 2nd time.

They shouldn't have had one left after Hynes challenged he didn't knock on only for video to show that he does, but suggest a penalty occurred against the storm before the knock on so keep your challenge.
