Who thinks Blair will be suspended?

Any word on Gillett's availability? Supposedly on 9 they said he picked up another injury.

Glenn could also be missing for touching the referee, I assume there's a few question marks surrounding Blair as well.

I've chosen to take the positives out of the performance against the Dragons. If they can build on them, than we could be in for an enjoyable night. However, I made that mistake against the Panthers and it resulted in one of the worst losses I've seen.

Tonight was all about competing until the 80th minute and getting the win. This game will be about the performance.

He probably will be.

Grade 2 careless high tackle.

Definitely worth challenging this one, it was an obvious slip into the tackle and at least it will show that we're aware of the harsh charges being laid against us.

Worthy of a penalty but nothing more than that.

The player clearly slipped into Blair and he absolutely no time to react, I was disappointed it was a penalty. I know in those conditions it had to be because it looked bad but there was nothing Blair could have done in those conditions.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they suspended blair
the judiciary is a fucking lottery at the moment

I'm more concerned with the way he came out of the Widdop tackle.

He went straight to the dressing sheds and didn't come back.

So we could be fielding our reserve grade team again. What a frustrating season.

At the moment we'll likely only be missing Gillett.

But Kahu and Nikorima are expected to return.

He was running and didn't look too badly hurt.

Keeping him off could have just been a precaution. We were well in control of the game and didn't look like losing so I'm hoping Bennett just decided to keep him off so he'll be right for next week.

Apparently Gillett's shoulder is all good.

He'll be all good for next week, but he'll be going under the knife at the end of the season.

This will be tougher than the Dragons. The Eels are still trying and they've got a lot more points than the Dragons in them so we can't just expect to cruise to a win even with Foran and Norman out.

Have to be much better. If Dragons had of scored at the end of that game (which very nearly happened) the Broncos v Dragons thread would have looked a lot different. Lets be happy for the two points but at nearly full strength, im not excited. We still played very average IMO and with who we had on the field, we should be better than that. Im not confident about Parra at all, but will still be there to cheer them on

The real indicator that you are spot on about this is the reaction from the St George players. Initially all rushing in, but as soon as Blair held his hand up and indicated it was an accident, everyone calmed straight away and I can recall one of their players I think it was de Belin, acknowledged that it was accidental.

One extreme positive from last night was that the error count was very low from the Broncos

good wet weather footy
our attack was never going to score 50 pts in those conditions and even teams in great form would have struggled for points last night
