This won't be opened until the telecast on Channel Nine has concluded. So keep all discussion in the match thread until then. :handshake:

Wasn't pretty but very satisfying to beat that bunch of idiots.

Impressive defense, souths are a pretty decent attacking side.

We switched off with about 15 minutes remaining, which really disappointed me.

Was a substandard performance. Happy to get the two points though.

How many times did we knock on? Geez. Substandard performance but it was still enough to beat them, which is great. Lolz at Isaac Luke.

Almost had the feeling that the boys were thinking about the game next week and beyond.

Pretty meh game.

Little disappointing that we didn't score a few more, but we never looked like losing IMO.

Yeah. Flat. Did enough. Hopefully we'll lift next week

I thought Macca was the highlight. Brilliant in the first half, and was picking up the ball at lightning pace. If he keeps improving, we'll eventually be building the whole team around him.

Parker was immense in the first half too.

Yep Macca has been so good the second half of the season and defensively he makes some unbelievable second efforts closing gaps, he is becoming a increasingly important player and thank f##k just in time for the finals and for next year without the presense of Locks. Really liked how dangerous our backrowers and centres look in attack Glenn, Thaiday, Te'o and Reed all look massive threats all day. Wallace, Lockyer and Hoffman were typically very good as they have been the vast majority of the year.

Terrible game, we were purely going through the motions. We are in a different class to Souths. Taylor is surely going to have a late start to the 2012 season.. thought the hit on Hannant was not good. Wallace and Macca were awesome, they're both in career best form. Also great to see Teo hitting his straps. He seems to be finally getting some confidence at contact back.

How good is Glenns footwork? Also Macca has been huge for us ever since he was suspended for a week. Griffin must have really given it to him I reckon.

Amen. David Taylor plays like a **** when he's ****ing up

Haha yes the moment Macca gave it to him for giving away that penalty, from that point on he was useless. We got under his skin and he didnt handle it at all.

49 missed tackles and 18 errors from the Broncs. Hardly makes impressive reading. It was a game that meant little to either team and it showed.

Yep that probably had a bit to do with it.

Had results fallen differently this week today's game could have had a different feel. Lang said in the presser that he would have played Merritt and Sandow if Knights had won last night and we would have gone up another gear had we still been in contention for second spot. Given both scenarios didn't pan out it's understandable today's game was a bit flat.

Just grateful there are no injuries. Now we look to next week and the Sea Eagles who are ripe for the picking IMO.
