Round 26 - Broncos vs Panthers - Post Match Discussion

Definitely a few positives though. Dale Copley is becoming a very gun winger. Wallace had his best game in a long time too.

Griffin has a thing for Norman if he lines up next week as 6.

I am fast starting to love Copley.

Copley has developed into a ripper player. Will end up in the centers when Reed loses his pace.

Very happy for Copley. He worked his arse off in the offseason and I knew he'd take his chances. He did.

I hope Yow Yeh is good next year. I'd be delighted with him and Copley as our wingers.

I was worried his confidence would be down. He looked a bit shakey at the start. Turned in a super performance all considered....

That run from Copley made the last 6 weeks of pain worth it. We really did miss his presence.

Was that the first time I have seen Thaiday try to rev up the boys by getting the crowd behind them in the second half?

Dont b sucked in by the commentary team's appraisal of that game. They were woeful not the game. I can see signs of things turning for us.

Copely was fantastic, I've always thought he has what it takes to succeed. Also, Mansour looks like an absolute gem, I reackon we will see him playing rep footy in the future.

Wallace needs to be second receiver anywhere inside 40 or play 6 from the start. He may be to slow to run but he sees the space.

7. Hunt
6. Wallace

Do that next week and I'll be happy.

Yeah well ......the way I saw it, he seemed to be more interested in reving up the crowd instead of being the skipper and steadying his boys for the kick off.....of which they subsequently fluffed.

I didn't like it tbh...

I'd be able to cut Wallace some slack if that happened. He's just not a 7.....could be a 6....maybe

Hoffman again I felt disappointed with.....

1. Norman (take away the need for him to set the plays and just let him run with the ball)

6. Wallace (gives the him the time he needs to figure out what to do)

7. Hunt (can create something from the inside early on....whether it's turning the ball inside to the forwards or giving it wide to Wallace)

As long as whoever is wearing six can ****ing pass it when we have numbers and an overlap out wide. When Hannant ran at that gap, didn't get the ball and just threw his hands up in the air, it was a perfect summation of the game. I saw enough I liked, just need to take some of those chances and we could be great.

Should have won by more. Couple of pretty shitty reffing calls leading up to penriths second try (and even the try itself was questionable with the offside)
